2/22/08 Jobs
Journal Entry: Fri Feb 22, 2008, 8:31 AM
Pretty simple here. I've never had a job I've liked. I tolerate them. I may like the peeps at the job, but never the job itself. I get a little sad/jealous when I hear that other folks have had jobs they enjoyed. I don't get resentful towards them or act like a jerk or nothing. My jobs have always been just a way to get food and shelter & have a stable life.
Every now and then I think about splitting from my office-type jobs and either get into illustration, cooking, or possibly even teaching.
But I have a wife, a house, and eventually kids and I love all 3 of those [although the kids are imaginary at this point]. So I want to keep them. So I don't feel like its responsible to take risks.
Sometimes I feel more optimistic about getting a job I like, but today I'm a little pessimistic.
I do understand that I do have control & can use my time more effectively to develop my skills and projects after work. It just ain't easy.
I think typing this is making me feel better.
Thank you Journal 'O mine.
Peace

Unfortunately, I fear it is too late for my soul to be saved from everlasting torment, so I am just gonna enjoy myself now, suffer the consequences and say Hi to Dante later
Gotta catch'em all.
Sorry about that, my mind just regurgitated pop culture all over your thank you.

Well let me just quote the late-great Colonel Sanders, who said...I'm too drunk to taste this chicken."
I recognized your stuff when I saw it. I just don't remember if it was on Lesean's forum or Gaijin Studios.
I never really produced much work, so I'm a little surprised you remember me at all.
I'll check out your site at home. I 'm at work for now.
